History was made at Maple Grove Raceway in Mohnton, Pennsylvania this past weekend as the Mopar Express Lane NHRA Nationals kicked off the 2021 Countdown to the Championship Series. There’s a lot of racing to report in today’s NHRA Wrap-Up, so without any further ado…

2021 Mopar Express Lane Nationals Pro Stock Results

If it wasn’t there already, Greg Anderson’s face is now permanently etched on the Mt. Rushmore of NHRA Pro Stock. Paired with Erica Enders in a final round matchup, Anderson ripped off a 6.578-second, 208.30 mph run to best Enders’ 6.604/206.73. The win was number 97 for Anderson in NHRA Pro Stock competition, and ties him with the legendary Warren Johnson from most Pro Stock wins all-time. Congratulations to Anderson and the entire KB Racing team for the historic victory!

2021 Mopar Express Lane Nationals Top Fuel Results

So a Torrence lifted the Wally this past weekend. No surprise there, as Steve Torrence has been a dominating force in Top Fuel all season long—except this time, it was the elder Billy Torrence doing the celebrating. His 3.720-second, 326.08 mph pass gave him the win against runner up Justin Ashley’s 3.784/313.22 run.

2021 Mopar Express Lane Nationals Funny Car Results

With defending champ Matt Hagan sidelined due to illness, Tommy Johnson Jr. has been handling the driving duties in the Mopar Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Funny Car. And what a job he’s done: Johnson Jr. took the win this past weekend, fighting off John Force in the finals with a 3.926-second, 330.23 mph run over Force’s 3.946/328.44 effort.

2021 Mopar Express Lane Nationals Pro Stock MC Results

Steve Johnson took a big step towards the Pro Stock Motorcycle Points Championship in Maple Grove, grabbing both the Wally and the points lead. Facing Eddie Krawiec for the final matchup, Johnson made a 6.775-second, 196.87 mph pass to best Krawiec’s 6.870/197.16 run.

The Second Race in the NHRA Countdown to the Championship is the DeWalt NHRA Carolina Nationals in Concord, NC September 17 – 19.
